2010 Summer Beach Mass

How can one beat the view with the Straits of San Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Mts. for a backdrop to the Beach Mass? The weather gods...er, angels called up a perfect day with blue skies, comfortable temperatures and little wind.

"So, here we are. What are we gonna to do?" Even Sally is scratching her head in puzzlement.

"Oh yeah, this is a mass, not a picnic...that comes later. Guess I's better sermonize a bit. Now, it sez here in Good Book...."

Of course no Episcopal liturgy is really complete without a celebration of the Eucharist.

Pat G., St. David's answer to Joan Baez, leads the congregation in singing "Amazing Grace."

The Eucharistic feast of a bit of bread and a sip of wine, though it filled our spiritual hunger, soon degenerated into just a feast for the belly with hotdogs, hamburgers, and other assorted junk food. A good time was had by all. Thanks be to God.
