Breaking Ground

These two photos depict the ground breaking ceremony for St. David's upcoming renovation. Bishop Sandy, Pastor Nancy, and LEM Nan are officiating. Little ground has since been broken for various reasons, one of them being that the ground is frozen and the snow is a foot deep (as of Dec. 1). Plans are to start breaking ground in earnest on Jan. 1, weather (and our pocketbooks) permitting.

Here Bishop Sandy is lecturing Betty on the woes of being retired. Is he contemplating coming out of retirement....again? The Good Lord knows we need him.

Notice the hands raised in supplication. They seem to say, "Come on, now. Half a mil isn't that much ! All we have to do is sell lottery tickets ! The winner gets a free ride to heaven ! No problemo !

The Master Architect, Richard, and Bishop Sandy are in serious head to head discussion about the renovation plans. Did Richard leave something out? Like the Bishop's Lounge, or the Vestment Room?
