Programs
We offer two programs at Saint David’s Day School:

Our Kindergarten READINESS program will offer social and academic exploration in a caring, nurturing, structured environment. Readiness skills for reading and math are introduced through age-appropriate activities. It is our goal to prepare your child to be emotionally, socially, behaviorally, and academically successful in Kindergarten.

Our Kindergarten ENRICHMENT program will provide an environment that maximizes the learning potential for each child. We use a thematic approach to integrate developmentally appropriate activities in reading, math, handwriting, art, music and problem solving. The small group structure allows children to gain independence and confidence that will ease their transition into first grade and set them on a lifelong journey to learning.

Special Activities
We enhance our curriculum with local field trips, guest speakers, and activities such as swimming lessons, visits to the public library, and cooking projects each week.

Kindergarten READINESS:

Monday through Thursday
8:00am – 11:00am

Kindergarten ENRICHMENT:

Monday through Thursday
11:15am – 3:00pm

Our program closely follows the San Juan Island School District calendar, although there may be some exceptions throughout the year.

                     Tuition

Kindergarten READINESS:

$200.00 per month

Kindergarten ENRICHMENT:

$300.00 per month

Scholarship support may be available. Please discuss your individual needs and hopes with our staff.
Registrations for the 2012-2013 school year are now being accepted by St. David's Day School. Small class sizes and high teacher to student ratios limits our available spaces, so be sure to secure yours today.
           Eligibility

Kindergarten READINESS:
Students must be 4 years old by August 31st.

Kindergarten ENRICHMENT:
Students must be enrolled in either a public, private, or home school Kindergarten program.
Our program is open to all children regardless of handicap, religion, race, or national origin

A non-refundable REGISTRATION FEE must accompany each completed application.
The Kindergarten READINESS fee is $75.00.
The Kindergarten ENRICHMENT fee is $100.00.
