St. David’s parish consists of people of all ages, and like the San Juan Island community, the faith community at St. David’s has a high proportion of retired people. The level of education tends to be high as well, with parishioners possessing a wide range of professional fields and academic disciplines.

The people of St. David’s come from many different faith backgrounds: Episcopal, Roman Catholic, Protestant denominations, Buddhist, and none of the above. St. David’s is distinctly and explicitly Christian, but it is not dogmatic, spanning the range of the theological spectrum from conservative to liberal.

Those likely to be most comfortable at St. David’s wish to make up their own minds, and are willing to grant others the freedom to do the same.
