One enters the sanctuary from the stair well to the right or from the lift on the left. The baptismal font is immediately encountered reminding the congregation of their baptismal vows. This view looks the east where it receives the morning sun. Notice the two-toned light and dark roof, which symbolizes the wedding of the old and new church structures.
Turning 180 degrees to the west there is an alcove that could serve as an alternate area where the altar could be located. Or this area could be used as a side chapel. To accomodate flexibility in seating arrangements traditional pews were removed from the nave in favor of chairs.
Turning to the north is the larger "traditional" orientation where, currently, the altar is located. To the rear in the alcove is seating for the choir, a piano, and an organ.
Finally, turning again 180 degrees to the south, is where the old entryway was once located. It is now a small meditation chapel that can accomodate a dozen people. Overlooking the congregation is a large wooden carving representing St. David, the patron saint of our church.
