The enemy of all mowers are rocks. An ancient glacier has endowed St. David's landscape with an over abundance of stony hard stuff. Here Dennis and Jens are extracting rocks from the lawn's edge in hopes that mower blades will be spared nicks and dings.

Doug says, "We have to get rid of all these leaves." Madyln laughs and replies, "You gotta be kidding !!" When things get too tough, laughing it off is the only way to preserve sanity. Cindy, in the background, is still sitting down on the job. She's smirking.

Here at St. David's we don't work for peanuts. But we do for cookies and brownies. Here Pam lays out the goodies to keep workers well supplied with calories.

Watch out for your toes ! Here comes Rich with his jazzy weedeater ! Keeping the green things cropped and in their place is a never ending job.

It's nice to see a smiling happy face in the presence of evil weeds and rampant shrubby growth. Rita tackles the task with good humor and vigor.
