- Sunday School classes are taught to all age groups from pre-school to adults. Except for the summer months, these classes meet on Sunday mornings. The children's class meets in Gryphon Hall from 10:00 Am-11:10. We use a curriculum called "Godly Play" and our teachers are terrific ! Godly Play is a method of Christian education for children. The goal is to teach children by using religious language-parable, sacred story, silence, and liturgical action-to help them become more fully aware of the mystery of Gods presence in their lives.
- Middle School Youth Group. St. David's has an active Middle School Youth Group. For more information visit our Children & Youth Program Page .
- Inquirer's class will begin this Fall. This class is designed to help the inquirer learn more about the Christian Faith, as it has been interpreted by the Episcopal Church in its nearly two thousand years of history, beginning with the early church.
- The Adult Forum meets from 9:15-10:15 Sunday Mornings and offers thought-provoking discussions usually centered around a theme or book. Topics have covered a wide range of issues and concerns. This year the Inquirer's class will be integrated as part of the Adult Forum.
- The Episcopal Church Women (ECW) meet on the second Wednesday of every month (except for the summertime) for a brown bag lunch and an interesting program. Dessert and beverages are provided. The meeting begins at noon in the Undercroft, and all women are cordially invited.
- Holden Evening Prayer: On the first Wednesday of every month the church sponsors an All-Mission Potluck beginning at 5:30 pm in the Undercroft. Families are welcome, as are any members of the San Juan community who would like to share an evening of fellowship and song. Please bring place settings for your party and a dish to share.
- Contemplative Prayer: On the 2nd-4th Wednesdays at 5:30 PM, a service of silence with a concluding Eucharist is held in the church sanctuary.
- Peace & Justice: This is a short 30 minute service based on the theme of peace and justice. It includes liturgical readings, and a 15 minute silence for prayer and meditation.
- Saint David's Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 6:30 pm in the sanctuary. Under the direction of RuthE Wells, our choir is growing in numbers and in their musical offerings at the ten o'clock services on Sunday. They are always looking for new voices to complement the choir.
- Bible Study Group: This group meets on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. to study the scriptures. Currently, the Book of Isaiah is being studied.
