The "vestry" is an ecclesiastical body, its basic function to oversee the legal corporation of the church. Church buildings, financial matters, and the hiring of church staff , for example, are some of the functions of the vestry. Vestry men and women are lay people, who are elected by the church congregation for a 3 year term. The office of "Senior Warden" and "Jr. Warden" signifies one who is a supervising official. The Senior Warden has many duties, but he/she usually takes a lead in the administration of financial affairs and acts in the absence of the Rector or Priest. The Jr. Warden typically takes a supervisory role in the administration of church buildings and property. Saint David's vestry members and Treasurer are:
