Although there are no in-person worship services at St. David’s Church during the current public health emergency, there most definitely ARE opportunities to worship together with a “virtual” gathering of Episcopalians from far and wide.
While our buildings are closed, the people of St. David’s will gather for worship via Zoom video-conference every Sunday morning at 9:30. This short service will include a reading from the Hebrew Scriptures, a Psalm, and the Gospel reading of the day, followed by a brief homily, prayers and a blessing. The zoom meeting typically opens shortly after 9:00 AM to provide an opportunity for our members and friends to chat with one another before the service begins.
You can see our virtual gathering, and pray along with us, on our Facebook live stream. If you would like to join us on Zoom, we will need to verify your identity. Please use the contact form on this website to introduce yourself and request permission to join us.
For a different kind of online worship experience, St. Mark’s Cathedral will live-stream weekly made-for-internet services of Holy Eucharist (11 a.m. Sunday morning) and Compline (9:30 p.m. Sunday night). These services are also being archived for viewing at a later time.
We do hope you will take advantage of these opportunities to continue to gather together in voice and in spirit!
